WEEE Regulations

Salt and Pepper Ltd. abides by the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)Regulation 2006

Since 1 July 2007, the UKs Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations allow members of the public to deposit old electrical and electronic items at recycling sites across the UK, free of charge.

The WEEE regulations aim to reduce the quantity of electrical and electronic items disposed of in general household refuse and and encourage everyone to play a part in protecting our environment for future generations by actively recycling old and broken items.

Salt and Pepper Ltd supports this regulation by
1) Adhering to the Take-Back clause that enables customers to return WEEE on a like-for-like basis or

2) Encouraging their customers, both in-store and mail-order to find their nearest recycling sites for waste electrical and electronic products. This can be done by contacting your local council to find the the nearest recycling centre.

All our products which fall under the WEEE regulations are clearly identifiable with a crossed out wheelie-bin symbol on the packaging and should not be disposed of in general household waste.

Salt and Pepper prides itself in customer service. If you have any concerns regarding our website please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to help you.
